Cameron wellhead systems range from conventional to application-specific systems for geothermal wells, jackup rigs, unconventional plays, and more. Designed to reduce installation time and enhance safety, they use trims and proprietary sealing technologies for expected well conditions. Cameron was the first to engineer surface wellhead systems rated to 30,000 psi, 450 degF and qualified per API 6A Appendix F. API 6A gate valves provide pressure and fluid flow control during the life of the wells as well as taking returns during drilling operations, gas lift, and well kills. Cameron API 6A gate valves have multiple gate designs (slab, expanding, wedge slab, power-actuated) and are suited for onshore and offshore service under severe conditions. DEMCO Series mud gate valves are used in mud tanks, mud pumps, and standpipe manifolds. Choke valves manage wellbore pressure during drilling operations and manage production flow during the life of the well to optimize production rates. Cameron  chokes include needle and seat, gate and seat, plug and  cage as well as multiple orifice valve rotating disc type chokes, and the CAM30-DC choke, which offers the versatility to switch between various trim styles for greater controllability and erosion resistance. From the wellhead connector to the manifold system, Cameron offers a complete system for containing wellbore pressure and diverting formation fluids and gases. With a focus on maximizing the safety of drilling operations, we design, engineer, and test technologies that meet and often exceed regulatory requirements. We were the first to engineer large-bore drilling BOPs rated 20,000 psi and 25,000 psi for deepwater drilling and the first to manufacture rams that can shear the hardbanding on tool joints. Cameron offers a broad portfolio of actuators for both 6A and 6D valve applications. When incorporated into a safety system, these actuators protect the environment and equipment by shutting in the well when most needed. We also provide a comprehensive line of accessories, such as bonnets and stems, for interfacing with gate valves. In addition to the above listed equipment Cameron also provide EPCIC services to complement these products with control panels, High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems, High and Low pressure risers systems and a suite of services aimed at managing and maintaining all supplied assets for the life of the equipment.
