SANY Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. is a Chinese clean energy equipment manufacturer founded in 2008 and headquartered in Beijing. It is a subsidiary of the SANY Group, one of China’s largest heavy machinery conglomerates. The company was listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on 22 June 2022 under stock code 688349. SANY RE’s core business is the design, manufacture and sale of onshore wind turbines, with a product portfolio covering the 3 MW to 16 MW+ power range. The company has developed its own proprietary large‑megawatt platforms, including the 12.X–16.X MW series (flagship model SI‑270150, 15 MW) and the 10 MW SI‑230100, as well as European‑targeted models (SI‑17578, SI‑18580). SANY RE ranks among the top 6 global wind power manufacturers by market share (source: BNEF, 2024). The company operates the world’s largest wind power test centre, equipped with a 35 MW Six Degrees of Freedom & Drivetrain Back‑to‑Back Test Bench. SANY RE also manufactures its own wind turbine blades (incl. the world’s longest onshore blade of 131 m) and hybrid towers (140‑m design for 10 MW turbines, TÜV Nord certified).
