High-power gas Turbine GTE-170

The reliable gas turbine is designed to drive an electric generator with a rotation speed of 3000 rpm when operating in a simple or combined cycle. It is developed taking into account the requirements of state and industry standards of the Russian Federation. The first prototypes of gas turbines (version GTE-170.1) will have high reliability indicators with cycle parameters at the level of most units operated in Russia. Version GTE-170.2 with increased parameters is under development. In order to bring the efficiency parameters to the level of advanced foreign analogues while maintaining high reliability of the GTU, the design bureau of gas turbine units of Power Machines is carrying out a set of R & D in partnership with the largest scientific organizations of the Russian Federation. Several stages of the compressor, working and guide blades of the turbine, including the blade cooling system, will be modified in the design of GTE-170.2.
