Sibelektroprivod LLC is the largest manufacturer of medium-power electric traction machines in the Ural-Siberian region. Founded in 1961, the company specializes in the development and production of traction generators and electric motors for quarry dump trucks, diesel-electric tractors, as well as electric motors and traction units for diesel generators in diesel locomotives. The plant has a long-standing partnership with BELAZ OJSC. As part of a strategic partnership with ŠKODA ELECTRIC, the first prototypes of the KTEP-90 traction electric drive for BELAZ dump trucks with a payload capacity of 90 tons were created. The company also develops and manufactures traction motors for shunting and mainline diesel locomotives, as well as associated electrical equipment for Russian Railways rolling stock.
