Restrictions
When foam forms in solutions with high viscosity and SHC, it is very difficult to break the resulting structure. As with any other defoamers, the viscosity of such a solution should be reduced before adding the defoamer.
Evaporations from the alcohol base of the reagent may cause irritation of the upper respiratory tract if inhaled for a long time.
Appeal
When using the product on a drilling rig, it is recommended to use standard PPE—goggles, gloves, and a respirator. Handle the product in accordance with the safety data sheet.
Processing
The recommended dosage and frequency of application depend on the intensity of foaming. Therefore, to establish the optimal application concentration and application method, preliminary pilot tests should be conducted in a dosage range from 0.05 to 3.0 kg/ m3 .
