The LTW101 is the largest wind turbine in the LEITWIND portfolio, designed for high efficiency and reliability in medium-wind zones. It uses a direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous generator, which eliminates the need for a gearbox, reducing maintenance requirements and increasing overall efficiency. The turbine is available in three power variants (2,000 kW, 2,500 kW, and 3,000 kW) and is certified for IEC wind classes IIA and IIIA with a guaranteed average technical availability of up to 97%. The LTW101 features active pitch control and a modular generator design with individually replaceable stator windings and permanent magnets, simplifying service and repair
