Medium Voltage Electric Motor (MV)

The Hoyer Medium Voltage Motor is designed for high‑performance applications requiring high output power. Available in frame sizes 355 to 560, with power ratings from 185 kW to 1,800 kW. The motor operates at higher voltage levels (3/3.3 kV, 6/6.6 kV, or 10/11 kV), allowing lower current and the use of smaller cables, making it a cost‑optimising solution for large industrial installations. All motors are tested and approved according to IEC 60034‑18‑32 & 42 for electric lifetime and IEC 60034‑18‑31 for thermal lifetime, ensuring a minimum operational lifetime of 20,000 hours. The standard frequency is 50 Hz, with 60 Hz available on request. Suitable for industries and applications such as mining, cement, petrochemical, water & wastewater, and large fans, pumps, and compressors. High‑voltage motors are custom‑engineered to meet specific customer requirements for demanding continuous duty applications.
