Elementrac CS-i Carbon / Sulfur Analyzer

The ELEMENTRAC CS-i measures carbon and sulfur concentration in predominantly inorganic samples through combustion in an induction furnace. The high temperature of more than 2000 °C ensures complete decomposition of the sample. Meets and exceeds requirements of ASTM E1019 and DIN EN ISO 15350. Features include control of induction performance for low-melting metals, heated dust trap for improved sulfur detection, platinum-based catalyst reactor for accurate carbon detection, optimized carrier gas flow for dusty samples, software-based leakage test, and optional vacuum system. Available as single-element (C or S) or simultaneous measurement configuration with up to 4 IR cells. Optional TIC module for measuring total inorganic carbon in soil or construction materials.
