The weight of the breathing apparatus is concentrated on the hips, which reduces the load on the back, tension and fatigue. The fastening belt system is equipped with overlays on the shoulder belts and optionally an overlay on the belt, providing additional comfort.

The Dräger PA94 Plus Basic breathing apparatus can be used with a conventional pressure gauge or with the DrägerMan Bodyguard® - an innovative, fully electronic unit that combines previously separate warning and control devices.
