Single girder Overhead bridge crane

Overhead single-girder cranes consist of a span beam, two end beams complete with gear motors, a lifting mechanism (hoist), a control cabinet and a power supply system. Overhead cranes move along a rail or a steel square fixed on top of the overhead crane beams, making them more reliable than their suspended counterparts. A lifting mechanism (hoist) moves along the span beam, on the hook of which a crossbar, sling or other grip for the load can be located. Due to the simultaneous movement in two directions - the bridge (forward-backward) and the hoist (right-left) - the overhead crane covers the entire area of the room in which it is installed and can accept the load from any point in the accessibility zone. A single-girder overhead crane can be equipped with both an electric and a manual drive.
