Downhole Motors

Screw downhole motors manufactured by Permneftemashremont JSC have the following features:

• A wide range of products (more than 100 modifications), allowing you to choose an engine with an optimal ratio of sizes, energy characteristics, curvature set indicators and other parameters,
• The ability to equip engines with both conventional and profiled motor sections,
• Optimum length, high rigidity and handling while drilling,
• Fail-safe design, which provides fishing devices with both angle-adjustable motors and direct motors,
• The presence of bimetallic and carbide radial bearings of increased wear resistance, the placement of radial bearings in the maximum proximity to the bit,
• The presence of threaded torsion bars and cardan shafts with oil-filled joints for connecting the rotor of the motor section and the shaft of the spindle section,
• High-quality materials for the manufacture of assemblies and parts obtained by applying special technical processes aimed at additional hardening of workpieces (radial forging) and parts (chrome plating, ion nitriding),
• Possibility to complete engines with overflow and check valves, centralizers, filters.
• The possibility of engineering and technological support during the development of engines in the well.

As agreed with the client, downhole helical motors can have a hybrid design   (240/195, 195/186, 195/172, 172/164, 127/120, 106/95), which provides the following advantages:

• The ability to operate the VZD at a lower flow rate of the flushing fluid, which allows drilling using pumps of limited productivity and saving drilling fluid in conditions complicated by absorption,
• A more intense and stable set of curvature parameters,
• Increased performance and reliability.
