Stamps for Separating Operations

Separating dies are used for sheet metal stamping of rolled metal parts and consist of two parts: a matrix and a punch. The punch acts as a movable part in this process, pressing the workpiece into the hole of a rigidly fixed matrix. Using such a die, it is possible to perform various operations on the workpiece processing, including the following: Cutting - complete separation of the product from a fragment of sheet material Cutting - separation of a part of the workpiece along an open contour Cutting - division of the workpiece along an open contour Punching - creation of holes in a workpiece from sheet material Typically, this type of stamping is used to manufacture parts of simple shapes, with relatively low requirements for accuracy.
