VBShv - is a design that provides reliable protection of conductive copper cores from external influences. The cable design has two layers of protection: Cable design VBShv V - cores are covered with PVC insulating plastic B - armored with galvanized steel tapes Sh - a protective hose made of PVC plastic, which is a protective cover - a sheath. Such protection of the VBShv electric cable is required when laying in the ground or located outdoors, since the power line is constantly exposed to aggressive environmental influences. Design flaws include insufficient strength under tensile loads.

Permissible long-term heating temperature of the cores during operation is +70°C
Maximum heating temperature of wires during short circuit - +160°С
The short circuit duration is no more than 4 s.
Permissible heating of the cores of VBbShv cables in emergency mode is not higher than - +80°С
The duration of use in emergency mode should not exceed 8 hours per day, but not more than 1000 hours during the service life.
Construction lengths of cables for cross-sections of main conductors: 1.5-16 ^mm2 — 450 m, 25-70 ^mm2 — 300 m, 95 ^mm2 and above — 200 m
Service life - 30 years
The warranty period is 5 years from the date of commissioning of the cables, but not later than 6 months from the date of manufacture.
