The cables are intended for transmission and distribution of electric energy in stationary installations at a nominal alternating voltage of 0.66 and 1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz. The cables are intended for laying single cable lines in cable structures and production facilities. Group laying is permitted only in outdoor electrical installations and production facilities where only periodic presence of service personnel is possible. In this case, passive fire protection must be used. VBbShv is a cable with copper conductors, insulation made of polyvinyl chloride plastic, protective covering type BbShv (armor made of galvanized steel tapes, protective hose made of polyvinyl chloride plastic).

Climatic performance according to GOST 15150-69 – UHL, T, placement categories 1, 5, and also for laying in the ground.
Operating temperature range from minus 50 °C to +50 °C;
Relative air humidity at a temperature of +35 °C up to 98%;
Laying and installation of cables without preliminary heating is carried out at a temperature not lower than minus 15 °C;
Permissible heating temperature of the cores during operation:
- long-term - no more than +70 °C;
- in overload mode – no more than +80 °C;
- maximum short circuit temperature +160 °C;
Test voltage at 50 Hz:
- for voltage 0.66 kV - 3 kV;
- for voltage of 1 kV - 3.5 kV;
Minimum bending radius for gasket and installation:
- single-core cables - 10 cable diameters;
- multi-core cables - 7.5 cable diameters;
Permissible forces when pulling cables along the route are no more than 50 N/mm2 of the core cross-section.
Construction length of cables with core cross-section:
- up to 16 mm2 - 450 m;
- from 25 to 70 mm 2 - 300 m;
- 95 mm2 - 200 m;
The warranty period is 5 years from the date of commissioning of the cable;
Service life of at least 30 years.
