Wires with copper cores with PVC insulation for voltage up to 450 V (for networks up to 450/750 V) with frequency up to 400 Hz or direct voltage up to 1000 V are intended for electrical installations during fixed installation in lighting and power networks, as well as for installation of electrical equipment, machines, mechanisms and machine tools. Laid in steel pipes, hollow channels of building structures, on trays, etc., for installation of electrical circuits.

Design:
- The PuV cable is manufactured with a copper core of limited flexibility (up to 10 mm2 inclusive - single-wire) with PVC insulation.
- The wires are made in different colors. The coloring is solid or made by applying two longitudinal stripes on the insulation of a natural color. For wires used only for grounding, the insulation has a yellow-green color. The color of the solid insulation is specified in the order.
PuV wires - operating conditions:
- The wires are designed for operation at ambient temperatures from -50 °C to +70 °C and at relative humidity up to 100% at temperatures up to +35 °C
- The wires are resistant to bending at an angle of 90°.
- Bending radius during installation - not less than 10 wire diameters
- Installation of wires is carried out at a temperature not lower than -15 oC
- The permissible long-term heating temperature of the conductors is no more than 70 °C.
- The wires do not spread combustion and are resistant to mold.
- The service life of PuV-1 wires is 15 years.
