BURINZAN reagent is a modified xanthan gum-based product. BURINZAN reagent is used to regulate the structural and rheological properties of water-based drilling fluids and process fluids. It increases the viscosity of the fluid at low shear rates, thereby ensuring excellent retention and removal properties. It maintains its effectiveness in highly mineralized drilling fluids.
