Description:
This is a 3.3 MW biomass combustion plant for the production of thermal oil (302-250°C) for a client in the United Kingdom. The plant uses wood dust from the customer's own production as fuel. The system is equipped with a water pipe cooling screen in the combustion chamber to control the temperature when burning dry biomass. The flue gases are cleaned using a multi-cyclone, fabric filter, and a urea injection system (SNCR). Additionally, the plant includes a hot water economizer with an output of 850 kW.
Overview:
| Capacity | 3.3 MW thermal oil (at 302‑250°C) |
| Additional Output | 850 kW hot water |
| Fuel | Wood dust (residual material from own production) |
| Flue Gas Cleaning | Multi-cyclone, cloth filter, urea injection (SNCR) |
| Key Features | Water pipe cooling screen in the firebox, two economizers (thermal oil and hot water), pneumatic cleaning system for the economizer |
