IK are designed to protect oilfield equipment and pipelines of oil collection and transportation systems, waste water disposal and reservoir pressure maintenance systems. They are complex compositions of surfactants — alkylimidazolines, amidoimidazolines, amines, hydroxyalkylated amines, phosphorus-containing organic compounds in various solvents.
Overview:
Corrosion inhibitors are represented by three types:
- water soluble
- oil soluble
- water-dispersible (oil-soluble).
The main properties of corrosion inhibitors of the Efril series:
- perfectly protect against carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide corrosion;
- possess high adsorption activity in relation to metal surfaces;
- provide reliable protection in highly mineralized environments containing dissolved carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide;
- possess excellent operational characteristics, low working dosage;
- completely prevent general and ulcerative corrosion;
- compatible with major oil preparation reagents.
Among the inhibitors there is a variant of the volatile, atmospheric type.
