VIT-4 eddy-current flaw detector is intended for measuring the depth of surface defects such as slots in objects made of ferromagnetic steels, as well as for detecting and evaluating the depth of surface cracks on products made from ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic steels and from alloys based on non-ferrous metals.
Overview:

VIT-4 can be used to detect continuity defects (cracks, hairlines, sunsets, etc.) that have an exit to the surface, as well as to detect defects on flat and curved surfaces, both with finishing and with high roughness, and also under a non-metallic coating.
