The PW-6000 controller works with Pro-Watch software, which also supports the PW 2000, PW 3000, PW 5000 and Galaxy Dimension panels. This allows you to expand previously installed systems based on these panels.

The PW-6000 controller is assembled from several modules (boards). The main module (PW6K1IC) - a board with a 32-bit microprocessor and a large database (up to 300,000 access cards, up to 50,000 events), connects in various combinations up to 32 expansion modules for organizing access control and management, security and alarm loops alarm, control various actuators. A large amount of memory allows you to process events in real time, without the need to access the server.

High reliability is ensured by a backup battery and redundant communication. To exchange information with a PC, the Ethernet port integrated on the controller board is used, a direct connection via the RS-232 port, or communication via a telephone line using a modem with an auto redial device.

Up to 64 access card readers with the Weigand interface and magnetic cards, the built-in Antipassback function and other complex access schemes are supported by one PW-6000 panel. Alarm loop inputs can be configured to work with normally-closed or normally-open detector contacts. It is possible to use loops with terminal resistors that distinguish 4 states (controlled loops) or without resistors (uncontrolled loops).

All relay outputs have normally-closed and normally-open contacts. The configuration of the outputs (standard or with fault protection), the pulse width of the relay activation, and the parameters of the repeating pulses are set using software. In the absence of communication between the modules, the relay outputs retain the state in which they were at the time of the loss of communication.

The boards are installed together in the rack of one case or in separate flat cases, if it is necessary to place the module next to the controlled objects (door, detectors, etc.). Communication between the PW 6000 panel modules is organized via the RS-485 bus, up to 1200 m long.
