Gantry crane

A gantry crane is a type of bridge structure with a two-legged support and a crossbar. The span can be attached to it using rigid fasteners if its length is small. In the case of large span dimensions, the structure becomes more complicated. So, if there is a long span, one leg must be fixed with a rigid fastener, and the other with a flexible fastener. This design prevents distortions in the event of temperature changes, jamming of the chassis or changes in track width. A bridge crane with a typical gantry design is indispensable in large-scale production or when working at a transport infrastructure facility, as well as in a warehouse, at loading and unloading facilities. They are available with both manual and electric drives.
