TYPES OF VELKRAN JIB CRANES: Stationary (floor, column-mounted). Used in production facilities where complex load handling tasks have to be performed in relatively small spaces. Structurally, this is a console that is installed on a separate foundation or on a finished concrete floor covering. The console is equipped with a boom along which a hoist with a drive moves. When selecting equipment, the rotation angle and boom length are taken into account. Wall-mounted. Suitable for facilities where it is not possible to mount equipment on a horizontal surface, but the facility itself can withstand a serious load. The device is attached to supports, concrete walls, installations or even machines. Mobile. Used in assembly shops, for auto repair, wherever work is required at different points in the room. The console is installed in the upper part of the device. Cranes also differ in the type of control. On electric equipment, the boom moves due to a gear motor. Equipment with a manual drive is controlled by the weight of the load or by means of a guy line.
