Currently, AMSTC Soyuz is upgrading the GTP-30-300 gas turbine drive with a free turbine shaft power of Ne=30.5 MW and an electrical efficiency of 36%. The GTP is used as part of the GTE-30-300 gas turbine power plant, created by order of the Moscow Government within the framework of the Comprehensive Industrial Activity Program in Moscow. The fuel heat utilization factor (FHUF) of this gas turbine power plant in the cogeneration cycle is 85.6%. The GTP-30-300 gas turbine drive is based on the R79V-300 dual-circuit engine, in which a new low-pressure compressor with higher pressure is installed. The GTP is designed for a service life of 100,000 hours.
