Hammer stamps

Hammer stamps are used in industrial production to give blanks the desired shape by deformation. The types of deformation effects include extrusion (changing the height or transverse dimensions), bending (angular deformation of the blank), and combined deformation in several directions. The upper, movable half of the hammer stamp is attached to the hammer "woman", the lower half is rigidly fixed to the stamp holder. An important element of the hammer stamp is the groove - a cavity on the working surface of the stamp, which gives its shape to the blank during the stamping of the part. As a rule, the blank undergoes several stages of processing: first, it is processed by a stamp with a blank groove, which reduces the volume of metal in some parts of the blank, and increases it in others, but the shape of the blank at this point does not yet correspond to the desired configuration of the product. After this, the blank is moved to the molding or bending groove to obtain the final shape of the product.
