Manufacturing of dies for cold Stamping

Cold sheet metal stamping dies are used in the production of both flat and spatial parts from plastic materials, including metals - alloyed low-carbon steel, copper, brass and various highly plastic alloys. In this case, the workpiece is subjected to plastic deformation without preliminary heating. The working surface is formed by a matrix and a punch, which is fixed on the movable part of the press or hammer. A die of this type is usually equipped with guide columns and bushings that ensure that the desired direction of movement of the forming elements is maintained even under significant force. Under the influence of the die, separation operations (cutting, punching and cutting out), as well as shape-changing operations (drawing, bending, relief forming, cold upsetting) can be performed on the workpiece. It is possible to process sheet material in several passes. With the relative simplicity of the technological process and low energy consumption, cold stamping allows for the production of complex-shaped components with an accuracy of up to 8th quality.
