Horizontal double-wall steel tanks "RGD"

The horizontal double-walled steel tank is a tank equipment designed to receive, store and dispense petroleum products with a density of up to 900 kg/m3. The body walls are made of two steel sheets to provide protection from external damage and support internal thermal insulation. The tanks are produced with an external waterproofing coating. The flanges are made according to the "tongue and groove" principle. The technological compartment of the tank in a telescopic design makes it possible to change the installation depth of the equipment in the pit. The fuel level is controlled by a meter stick through a measuring pipe. There are places for installing automatic level gauges. There is a system to prevent tank overfilling. The pressure sensor-alarm monitors the tightness and excess nitrogen pressure in the inter-wall space of the tank. The design of the "RGD" tank includes supports. Fastening to the foundation is carried out using a welded connection of the metal structure of the supports to the embedded parts of the foundation slab. Horizontal steel tanks for petroleum products are available in several design options depending on the air temperature in the operating area: up to minus 30 °C; up to minus 40 °C; up to minus 60 °C.
