The scanning mechanism is located in the bow, which allows the receiving-emitting antenna to be moved automatically in the direction perpendicular to the direction of movement. The system is positioned using differential GNSS receivers or an underwater acoustic positioning system. Depending on the type of soil, it can be equipped with wheels or tracks.
