The AOM 160M 02 is a three‑phase asynchronous motor with a squirrel‑cage rotor, designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. It features a flameproof enclosure type “d” and is certified for gas groups IIC (up to H132) or IIB+H2 (H160–H200) and temperature class T4 (135°C) or optionally T5. The motor is available in foot‑mounted (IM 1001), flange‑mounted (IM 3001), or combined designs. Standard cooling is self‑ventilation IC 411, and the motor meets IP55 protection for frame sizes 112 and above. It complies with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.
