How Anti-Dust Technology Works

Standard working tools often act like a piston-pump, suctioning dust and debris into the front head with every strike. Our solution breaks this cycle through three core engineering features:

1. Precision Dust-Wiper Groove

Merit Anti-Dust tools feature a precision-machined circular groove or "shoulder" near the shank area. This design works in perfect synchronization with a specialized wiper seal in the front head to physically scrape away debris before it can enter the critical lubrication zone.

2. Specialized Sealing Kits

We provide high-durability seals manufactured from Polyurethane (PU) and PTFE that maintain constant contact with the tool surface. These seals act as a secondary barrier, ensuring that the hammer’s grease remains inside while keeping abrasive silica dust out.

3. Air-Flush System Compatibility

For the most extreme environments, our tools are designed to integrate with compressed air-flush systems. By creating positive pressure inside the front head, the system actively blows dust away from the interface between the tool and the bushing, preventing any particle ingress.
