This is a 2000 kW hot water boiler originally installed by KARA in 1996 and upgraded in 2024. It uses flax as biomass to generate hot water for plate pressing production. The upgrade includes a new filter, flue gas recovery system, and an SNCR system for NOx reduction. The system includes advanced storage and supply systems for biomass.
