The NPS 100‑21 is a 100 kW distributed wind turbine featuring a 21 m rotor on a 37 m tubular steel tower (standard configuration). It is identical in drivetrain to the NPS 100C series, using gearless Permanent Magnet Direct‑Drive (PMDD) technology. The turbine starts generating at 3 m/s and has been widely deployed in commercial, agricultural and community projects across Europe and North America. Its 5‑year factory warranty, 98%+ fleet availability and annual maintenance requirement (vs. 3‑4 months for geared turbines) give it a low lifetime cost of ownership.
