1028 Series DC Micromotor (2‑Pole)

The 1028 series is a range of high‑precision DC micromotors featuring FAULHABER’s patented 2‑pole rotor technology. The motor has a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 28 mm, making it suitable for applications where space is extremely limited. It is constructed with an aluminium black‑anodised housing, pre‑loaded ball bearings, and a sintered NdFeB magnet system for high magnetic flux density. The 2‑pole design allows for very high rotational speeds, with a maximum of 79,000 rpm for the 1028 S006 B model. The motor incorporates digital Hall sensors, which provide commutation signals for electronic control and enable precise speed and position feedback. The 1028 S006 B operates at a nominal voltage of 6 V and achieves a no‑load speed of 32,300 rpm. It delivers a stall torque of 9.72 mNm and a maximum efficiency of 73%. The torque constant is 1.76 mNm/A, and the rotor inertia is 0.0622 gcm², enabling fast acceleration and dynamic response. The motor is compatible with a wide range of FAULHABER accessories, including precision gearheads (10/1, 12/3, 12/4, 12/5), incremental encoders (IEM3-1024, AESM-4096), and drive electronics (SC 1801, SC 2402, MC 3001 series). The operating temperature range for the motor is -20 °C to +100 °C, with a maximum winding temperature of +125 °C. The 1028 series is widely used in medical devices, robotics, aerospace actuators, and handheld precision instruments.
