SF Series Worm Gear Reducer

The SF series is a range of worm gear reducers featuring a die‑cast aluminium housing (cast iron for larger sizes). Available in seven sizes (SF 40 up to SF 150) to accommodate torque requirements from small automation equipment up to heavy‑duty industrial drives. The gearbox can be supplied as a bare unit (with or without input flange) or as a complete geared motor. Flange types available: B5, B14, or NEMA for compatibility with standard IEC motors. The standard version features a hollow output shaft for self‑adaptive cantilever mounting with a simple reaction arm, allowing easy installation in space‑constrained applications. Worm and wheel are made of hardened and ground steel for high efficiency and low noise. The design allows for multiple mounting positions, including foot (IM B3), flange (IM B5, B14), or any intermediate angle using the versatile housing geometry. The SF series is suitable for both continuous duty (S1) and intermittent duty (S3, S4). Applications include material handling, conveyors, packaging machinery, lifting equipment, agitators, and valve actuators where a compact right‑angle drive is required.
