Megapack Closed Type Wound High Voltage Motor

The Megapack Closed Type Wound High Voltage Motor is a totally enclosed, tube‑cooled squirrel‑cage induction motor designed for heavy industrial applications. It is built with a robust cast‑iron frame and offers protection up to IP55 and cooling type IC 611 / 81W. The motor is available with Class F or Class H insulation and is rated for continuous duty (S1). Standard mounting configurations include IM 1001, IM 3011, IM 2001, and IM 3001. Frame sizes range from 355 to 710, and the motor can operate at voltages of 415V, 690V, 3.3kV, 6.6kV, and 11kV. It is equipped with roller bearings at the non‑drive end (NDE) and ball bearings at the drive end (DE), all grease‑lubricated. The motor is suitable for demanding industries such as cement, chemical, mining, paper, power, steel, and sugar. Starting methods include Liquid Rotor Starter (LRS) or stator‑rotor / GRR. An optional space heater is available for moisture protection.
