EC Motor (Electronically Commutated)

The Hoyer EC (Electronically Commutated) Motor combines advanced energy efficiency with compact design. It is a brushless DC motor with integrated electronics, offering precise speed regulation and reduced power consumption compared to conventional AC induction motors. Available in power ratings from 0.15 kW to 7.5 kW, with speeds from 200 to 3,600 rpm. EC motors feature integrated VFD functionality and are available with either single‑phase (220‑240V) or three‑phase (380‑480V) supply. All models are protected to IP66, making them suitable for demanding environments including outdoor and wash‑down applications. The motor includes integrated electronics, eliminating the need for external drives. Designed for OEMs and system integrators aiming to optimise total energy use and minimise heat generation. Applications include HVAC fans, ventilation systems, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other variable speed applications.
