E..DB / E..DC Series – Flameproof Brake Motor (IE3-IE4)

The E..DB / E..DC series is a range of flameproof brake motors manufactured by Cemp, combining a flameproof motor with an integrated brake in a separate Ex db enclosure. These motors are designed for applications requiring rapid stopping and holding torque in hazardous areas. They feature Ex db, Ex db eb, Ex tb, and Ex tc protection types, and are certified for ATEX category II2G, II2D, II2GD. The motors are available with premium efficiency IE3 or super-premium efficiency IE4, frame sizes from 80 to 315 (IEC), and power outputs from 0.75 kW to 200 kW. They support 2, 4, 6, 8 poles and dual speed configurations. The motors comply with IEC/EN 60079 and IEC 60034 standards and are certified ATEX and IECEx. Special executions are available for temperatures from -60°C to +80°C.
