Si-TEC Xtend ADG (Advanced Digital Governor)

The Si-TEC Xtend ADG (Advanced Digital Governor) is a steam turbine control designed for mechanical drive applications including pumps, fans, shredders, mills, compressors, and blowers. Originally developed in 1991, over 4000 systems are now in operation throughout Australia, Asia, and internationally. The ADG is available in two variations: ADG-T for single steam turbine drive applications, and ADG-TT for tandem (dual) steam turbine drive applications. The control features precise speed governing with dual MPU for redundancy, automatic turbine start sequence, and the ability to drive a wide range of actuators (including HEINZMANN all-electric actuators from 6 to 180 Nm). It includes 16 logic inputs, 8 relay outputs, 4 analogue inputs, and 3 analogue outputs. The system supports Modbus RTU/ASCII, RS485, RS232, and CAN bus communications. Software tools include pcConfigure for set-up and alarm configuration, pcTune for precise turbine and process control tuning, and Si-TEC DataView for high-speed turbine monitoring and data logging.
