Bah‑Bahx Series Brake Motor (Marine & Harsh Environment)

The BAH‑BAHX series is a ruggedised version of the BA brake motor, designed for marine and harsh environments. Standard from frame size 225 to 315 mm (available from 80 mm on request), these motors feature enhanced protection against dust and liquid ingress. Standard protection is IP55 (IP56, IP65, IP66 on request). From frame size 160, housing, shields, flanges, and brake cover are made of cast iron for superior mechanical robustness. From frame size 225, the entire motor body can be supplied in spheroidal cast iron on request. The shaft is standard 39NiCrMo3 steel from frame size 160. The BAHX series offers IE2/IE3 efficiency for continuous duty (S1); BAH ‘Enhanced Power’ is available for intermittent duty (S3 60%). Manual brake release is standard locking type (non‑locking on request).
