CoorsTek Technox® 3000 is a HIPped (hot isostatically pressed) yttria tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (3Y‑TZP) known for its exceptional mechanical properties, including high strength and toughness. Yttria partially stabilized zirconia offers superior load‑bearing capability, facilitates finer surface finishes, and can hold a sharper edge. The ultrafine (submicron) tetragonal grains provide maximum strength, and the HIP process offers additional strengthening. Technox® 3000 exhibits a flexural strength of 1720 MPa and a compressive strength of 2500 MPa, making it suitable for demanding applications in oil & gas, industrial tooling, and other impact‑prone environments. Its high fracture toughness (13.0 MPa·m¹/²) contributes to durability in cyclic fatigue situations.
