The SDH714 is a three‑phase encapsulated SF₆ gas‑insulated switchgear designed for high‑voltage substations in the 72.5 kV to 145 kV range. It incorporates a modular construction that reduces component count, improves reliability, and simplifies maintenance. The fully earthed aluminium alloy enclosure ensures operator safety, prevents radio interference, and allows a compact bay width of just 900 mm, minimising foundation, building and transport costs. The SDH714 combines a disconnector, earthing switch and busbar disconnector into a three‑position switch configuration; a make‑proof earthing switch with a motor‑charged spring mechanism is optionally available. The unified SF₆ gas pressure of 0.6 MPa (gauge) across all compartments simplifies gas handling and monitoring.
