MINIMAG-M - a new modernized single-channel proton magnetometer designed to measure the module of the magnetic induction vector of the geomagnetic field (T) when performing ground magnetic exploration when searching for and exploring mineral deposits, as well as to detect other hidden magnetized objects. The device can be used as an autonomous magnetovariation station (MVS) with a programmable cycle of operation at a maximum speed of 1 measurement in 2 seconds.
Overview:

Compared with the previously produced MINIMAG model, the control procedure of the device is significantly simplified and the reliability of its operation is increased. As a visual display, it uses a more contrast LCD indicator, the active area of which is one and a half times the area of the MINIMAG display. Digital indication of the measurement result is supplemented by a graphical display of the recorded field. The memory capacity is increased eight times, which practically does not limit the autonomy of its action, both in the field magnetometer mode and in the MVS mode. Information is output from the magnetometer memory both in RS-232 format and in a more modern USB code. To improve the convenience of performing shooting work by one operator, the magnetometer kit is supplemented with a remote start button.

According to the main metrological and operational characteristics, MINIMAG-M is not inferior to the best foreign samples of the corresponding class and at the same time significantly lower in cost. The industrial production of a new model of the MINIMAG-M portable proton magnetometer began in 2010.
