The ST5 Shock Tool is designed to operate in a wide variety of drilling conditions, optimizing both drill bit life and penetration rate.
It acts as an isolation system between the lower BHA assembly and irregular drill string movements, ensuring that the drill bit remains in constant contact with the bottom of the well.
The set of “springs” can be configured to suit the specific conditions of any drilling operation.
