Description:
The PRESERV A – WN series is a range of photovoltaic (PV) backsheets manufactured by RenewSys. It is designed as a multi‑layer laminate for protecting solar modules from environmental stress. The structure consists of a proprietary priming layer, adhesive, PET (polyethylene terephthalate) core, second adhesive, and a hydrolysed PET outer layer. The backsheet provides excellent electrical insulation, moisture barrier, mechanical strength, and adhesion to encapsulants (EVA). Available models include PRESERV A – 100 WN, 125 WN, 150 WN, 190 WN and 275 WN, with thicknesses ranging from 270 µm to 365 µm. The material is supplied in widths up to 1310 mm, and widths above 1000 mm are made to order.
