The measuring sections are made according to a single-beam scheme and represent a pipe segment with flanges and installed in the housing opposite each other at an angle of 45 ° (for DN50 - 35 °) to the longitudinal axis of the DUT by piezoceramic primary transducers (PP). To date, the serial production of IUs from DN50 to DN300 has been mastered. For pipelines with a diameter of Du-300 and more, it is possible to use the technology of “direct insertion”. In this embodiment, the installation of primary piezoelectric transducers is carried out directly on the pipeline in compliance with the requirements and conditions set forth for this type of installation in the Instructions for the manufacture of IU on the pipeline PSTD.25101.07001.TI.
