Ultrasonic flaw Detector UD2V-P46
A modern model of an ultrasonic flaw detector, combining the advantages of the UD2V-P45 instrument with advanced functions of measuring and recording the results of inspection:
- simultaneous measurement of the amplitude and coordinates of the position of the maximum signal;
- simultaneous measurement of the distance along the beam and the coordinates of the defect at a given input angle of the transducer;
- recording mode of the envelope of the maximum signal in the control zone, with the display of B-scan;
- extended memory of settings and control results. Support for maintaining several databases of control protocols on a PC with the function of a protocol designer of any kind full-screen mode (LD version), the ability to connect one of 7 built-in coordination loops, for optimal operation with any probes
The algorithm for recording the envelope of the signal maximum realized in the device differs from similar modes in similar devices of other companies. As a rule, this is the so-called "Peak freezing" mode, when the device remembers the maximum value of the signal amplitude at each sweep point. In contrast to this mode, the method implemented in UD2V-P46 allows one to construct an envelope by memorizing only one point in each probe pulse - by the position and value of the maximum amplitude of the echo signal in the control zone.
This mode makes it possible to obtain, for example, a graph of the motion of the signal maximum during transverse scanning of a defect in a welded joint and to evaluate its conditional length, as well as to easily determine the coordinates of the reflector at the maximum amplitude of the reflected signal.
Another significant improvement in the new model is the number of settings increased to 100, with the recording of an A-signal and the ability to enter the name of the setting from the instrument keyboard, as well as the ability to save up to 750 control results (15 files of 50 results). Each result is a complete control protocol and consists of an A-signal, the envelope of the maximum (if the result is saved in this mode), the digital value of the measurement result (amplitude and coordinates, beam distance and coordinates or ultrasound speed), all parameters of the device, date , time and name of the result entered from the instrument keyboard. All results can be viewed and renamed in the future both in the device itself and using the software on the computer. For this purpose, the UdReport program is designed, which allows to fully automate the processing of control results, dividing them into different protocol databases and determining various additional control parameters based on identifiers contained in the result name. In addition, the program has the function of a protocol designer that allows you to create printed forms of protocols of any kind, depending on the requirements of a particular user.
The device is simple and easy to use, certified by the State Standard of Russia (certificate RU.C.27.003.A No. 33993), registered in the State Register of Measuring Instruments under No. 17498-03 and approved for use in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus.
