Description:
The drilling and metallurgical equipment factory was established on November 1, 1933. In 1970, by order of the Minister of Heavy, Power and Transport Engineering of the USSR, the Sverdlovsk Drilling and Metallurgical Equipment Plant became part of the Uralmash Production Association. Since 1992, in connection with the liquidation of the Uralmash production association, the plant has become an independent enterprise.
Currently, Drilling and Metallurgical Equipment Plant OJSC specializes in the manufacture of units and assemblies for oil drilling equipment and mining installations, spare parts and components for equipment of thermal power plants, gas pumping units and gas mains. ZBMO OJSC supplies spare parts for drilling rigs of oil and gas producing companies and to EKG-5A mining excavators.
