Foundations of Transmission line Supports on screw piles
Manufactured according to working drawings of projects:
- No. 20006tm (volume 2, 3, 4, 5, 9);
- No. 20015tm (volume 1 and 2).
Features of using pile foundations (series 20006tm)
- Installation of free-standing anchor-angle, intermediate tower-type supports for 35-500 kV overhead power lines is carried out on foundations that contain from one to four screw piles.
- Fastening of pillars and support braces – on foundations that contain from one to four screw piles.
- Installation of multi-faceted supports with voltage up to 110 kV is carried out on a two-pile foundation.
Construction of foundation with screw piles (20006tm)
The foundation includes:
- screw piles without caps (narrow- and wide-bladed products with a cast tip);
- grillage parts (upper beams with support units of various types);
- guy rope fastening elements.
Screw piles are connected at the top by a grillage, which is made up of metal beams located at different height levels.
The upper level beams with the fastening of the overhead line supports are equipped with fastenings for the shoes of the guy wires and supports. The fasteners connecting the piles to the grillage are highly reliable and durable. For large horizontal loads, the piles in the foundations are located at an angle to the vertical.
All foundation structures of this series are coated with zinc-containing anti-corrosion compounds in factory conditions.
Due to the need to assemble beams in the lower tier of the grillage and screwed piles using a large volume of welding work, as well as work on cutting and fitting reinforcing gussets, it requires subsequent treatment of the seams with an anti-corrosion compound after installation. Thus, not all pile foundation structures are supplied in factory readiness.
Marking of the foundation on screw piles of the 20006tm series includes:
- number of piles (1, 2, 3, 4 or 6);
- barrel or hub diameter;
- blade outer diameter;
- total length of the pile (including the shaft and cap);
- characteristics of the upper beam;
- execution of the fastening unit or support plate.
For the foundation of the presented series, screw piles of an improved type with a cast tip are used. Narrow-blade tips are recommended for installation on permafrost soils, and wide-blade tips are recommended for soils with seasonal freezing.
