The helicopter is equipped with a "glass cockpit" developed by Transas. Ka-62 is built according to a single-rotor scheme with a multi-blade tail rotor in the annular channel of the vertical tail unit. It has a five-bladed main rotor, a second hydraulic circuit, a high-capacity wheeled chassis, a reinforced fuselage structure and main unit mounting points, and shock-absorbing seats for the crew and passengers. It is planned that more than 50% of the rotor blades and airframe will be made of polymer composite materials.
