According to TU 4196-002-26439992-2015, stainless steel shot is produced, which is intended for processing steel surfaces and products that do not include iron, before subsequent coating. Our Staroutkinsky Metallurgical Plant provides an opportunity to buy products of our own production in the Sverdlovsk, Udmurt, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk regions, as well as Tatarstan, which meet high quality requirements. Types: cast (DNL) and chipped (DNK). Currently, the plant produces only chipped shot. Many manufacturers use these products to solve specific problems - for sandblasting, cleaning and releasing components that were obtained by investment casting. Stainless steel is also suitable for processing aluminum railway cars as an alternative to mineral abrasives, in particular alumina and garnet. It helps clean contaminated elements of nuclear power plants when disposal costs are very high. The products are used for general texturing of thick layers where precise roughness values are required. These can be coatings for pipes, wheels, tanks and other parts. The chipped variety is intended for shot blasting and helps prepare the surfaces of welded aluminum frames.
