The Alfakabel cable plant produces VVG power cables - with copper cores, with PVC insulation in a PVC sheath for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations at a nominal alternating voltage of 660 V and a frequency of 50 Hz.

Application

  • The VVG cable is designed for use in a stationary state at an ambient temperature from - 50°C to +50°C and a relative air humidity of up to 98% at a temperature of up to 35°C.
  • Laying the wire without preheating is allowed at temperatures not lower than -15°C.
  • When installing and operating VVG cables, one should be guided by the rules for the installation of electrical installations, the rules for technical operation and the rules for technical safety during the operation of electrical installations of consumers, approved by the State Energy Supervision Authority.
  • The cable construction materials, at the established storage and operating temperatures, do not emit harmful products in concentrations that are dangerous to the human body and pollute the environment.
  • To dispose of VVG cables and packaging materials, you must contact specialized organizations that have a license for waste processing.

Construction of VVG cable

1. Current-carrying core - copper, single-core, round, class 1 or 2 according to GOST 22483.

2. Insulation — made of polyvinyl chloride plastic (PVC). Insulated cores of multi-core cables have a distinctive color. Insulation of neutral cores is blue. Insulation of ground cores is two-colored (green and yellow).

3. The VVG cable sheath is made of PVC plastic;

4. Cables of the VVG brand are manufactured with 2–5 cores, with a cross-section of 1.5–10 mm2, in a round design.
